LCB as a smaller specialist institution helps students adapt more easily to be more independent methods of study required at University and helps them achieve the best possible results.

The duration of the BA Common Year 1 is 1 academic year divided into 2 semesters with 5 modules studied in each semester; students can start either in:

• September and finish in June, or

• February and finish in January.

2 GCE A' Level in English medium subjects or KCB's University Foundation Course.
